For those looking to take their photography to the next level, the Canon Digital IXUS 980 IS also offers a first for the Digital IXUS range: a Manual Mode that allows control of shutter speed and aperture - amongst other things. For split-second photo opportunities, a second new mode – QuickShot – uses the optical viewfinder for framing and focusing, virtually eliminating shutter lag for the perfect picture every time!
